The winery was opened in 1974 by Panagiotis Papanicolaou in Eleusis, using fine grape varieties in collaboration with winemakers from mountain Corinth and Thebes. Today, with Giorgos Papanicolaou, who is the new generation of the winery, the annual production reaches about 50,000 bottles, remaining a family business. It is also worth visiting their family production site.
An affordable, pleasant red wine with a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) Peloponnese. The color is a bright, medium-intensity violet with a rosy tint.The nose is lively and intense with aromas of black cherries and blackberries with hints of plum. The mouth is medium bodied with medium acidity and soft round tannins. The aftertaste is medium intensity with an aniseed finish.
