The company IDIOTROPA is a family business, which started its activities in 1992 in Mylopotamos, Drama, by Vassilis Hatzis and his wife Maria Tsiausidou. He started with the drying of Florinis pepper and continued with the drying of the tomato, known as "THE DRIED TOMATO". The raw material comes exclusively from the Greek countryside, after cooperation with farmers in the area and from the rest of Greece.
Red tomato marmalade has a special, not too sweet taste and strong aroma which are mainly due to the tomato.
