Creta Carob is a purely Greek company with many innovations and respect for the natural environment, with the aim of highlighting the carob as a product of high nutritional value, it advocates an alternative lifestyle and natural therapy.
Carob Syrup Honey is produced from the fruits of the carob tree and has a mild, sweet taste. It can be used as a sweetener for cakes, tahini, hot and cold drinks, yogurt, ice cream and rice. It is an excellent substitute for sugar. It is also known as a traditional cough and sore throat remedy. It has a high calcium content (almost three times more than milk – carob has 350mg per 100g compared to milk which has 120mg per 100g). The taste may vary depending on the variety used without changing the nutritional values.
Only Cretan carobs are used for its production.
