St. John's Wort oil has been known for its healing properties since ancient times with references from the father of medicine Hippocrates and also from Dioscorides.
It helps to heal wounds and cracks on elbows and heels, to relieve irritation, itching, insect bites, bruises, minor burns, skin diseases, inflammation and hemorrhoids. Balsam oil is also effective against sciatica, rheumatism and joint pain. Especially if used for massage, it can relieve us from sprains, cramps, gripes, colds and neuralgia.
