Astarte sea salt is collected by hand from hard-to-reach, wild rocks of Kythira, where there are no natural salt flats and the production follows the true rhythms of nature, which is why the quantities produced are very limited.
On the rocks and under the sun, the product acquires special taste characteristics and appeals to more demanding palates.
Astarte has long called the above production and collection process "sea salt hunting ©", the hunting of wild salt.
In nature, raw sea salt contains, in addition to sodium, an additional 91 different minerals in an ideal ratio. It is thus an important source of the necessary minerals and trace elements that our body needs to function properly.
